Swan Feather Earrings

The original earring design was inspired by art nouveau textiles. These flowing organic patterns can be seamlessly created using the technique I specialize in call Anticlastic raising. This techqnique is hammering a flat sheet of silver hundreds of times over an antler like shape, continually forging the metal to create a beautiful organic shape earrings. This ancient technique is from Ireland and it dates back over 2,500 years ago. Available metals are sterling silver, 18k gold.
