Tulip Necklace

The beautiful richness of the art nouveau era, the flowing design, the lavish materials, all are what inspires this series of necklaces. For these necklaces I used 14k solid gold and rough blue diamonds. I love the idea that the tulips have beautiful roots, that normally are not seen, however, I have accentuated in this necklace. It is a sweet idea that our roots of our family are are treasured and individual. Each form is hand raised using the anticlastic technique, with hundreds of blows with a hammer which creates a fluid natural shape which is the quintessential art nouveau style.
